Anything that’s in your calendar (meetings, interviews, workshops, events, office hours etc), as well as any tasks you want — or need — to tackle (e.g. email list, pitch podcast, re-write home page, prepare presentation, reply to bookkeeper, restock the pantry with Whittakers, check Slack, send that awkward email to your client).

How many of those things require you to communicate effectively with another human being?
Most of them, right? That’s because…
Communication is the thread that connects all the moving parts of your business
Which means that being truly excellent at what you do (whether that’s coaching, podcast editing, personal training, making snug little beanies for your neighbourhood Sphinx cats, or anything in between) doesn’t automatically guarantee you success.
Being good at your core skill isn’t enough.

→ And, as your business grows and shifts, you need to get really bloody good at communicating what you want
